Modern computers like the Mac are amongst the most complicated machines ever designed. When you consider just how complex they are and how many lines of code go to make up the program that runs on them, it's an amazing testament to the quality of the Mac hardware and software that they're usually so stable and reliable. However, no machine, even a really well maid one, can be 100 percent perfect. if something goes wrong with your Mac: if it stop working, the screen freezes up, there's a problem with the battery, the hard disk or the operating system and the apps installed on it, you don't always need to call the Genius Bar to get it fixed. There are a number of things you can try for yourself that might help and could save you the cost of a service call: so let's take a look at some of the things that can go wrong and what you can do about them.
When using multiple devices,
sign them up into your iCloud account.
On your Macs, open System Preferences > iCloud pain,
click options next to iCloud Drive and ensure
Desktop & Documents Folder is ticked.
Files in these locations are then available
on all your Macs and iOS devices.

When was the last time you get rid all the cruft in your download folder?
Ours is fill with PDF documents. Calender invitations,
app installers and other rubbish that's just sitting there taking up much needed space.
Zip it! Zip it all!.
Cache data stored on your hard drive that are used to speed up processes.
For instance, Safari will download images on a web page into Caches
so that it loads quicker the next time you visit it.
if unchecked, these files can build up and cause your mac to become slower.
Having hundreds of files loos on your Mac desktop
can cause it to perform sluggishly over time.
Right-click on the desktop and choose
'Use Stacks' to restore some order.

clicking on it and then clicking on the Bookmarks tab.
Rename bookmarks.
If you right-click on bookmark then a menu will appear.
Select 'Rename' to change the name of the bookmark - handy if you want to shorten it from its default name to something snappier.
